Verona is in Veneto, one of Italy’s twenty regions.
It is located 75 miles (120 km) to the west of Venice and very near Lake Garda, the country’s largest lake
Celebrated by Shakespeare, who made it famous as the romantic setting for the moving tale of Romeo and Juliet, Verona is a splendid, ancient corner of the Veneto region, nestling between the river Adige and Lake Garda.
On the air for over 30 years, Ugo has worked and confirmed 200 DXCC.
Over the years, Ugo has added various pieces of equipment to his shack and now owns a large collection of transceivers and antennas.
Among them : a GALAXY SATURN, a GALAXY SATURN TURBO, a KENWOOD TS 430 S, a PRESIDENT HURICAM.

Ugo has also a faithful helper in his shack. Her name is Mia.
She is a good SWLer and provides moral support when the band is totaly flat.
When they are not in their shack, Ugo and Mia enjoy another one of their hobbies, which is taking trips on their HONDA GOLDWING 1800 motorbike.
Maybe one day, they will merge both of thier passions = Dxing mobile from the motorbike. Who knows ? =)
