From Thursday 16 February to Tuesday 21 February 2023. The Verona Carnival, also known as “Bacanal del Gnoco” is one of the oldest carnivals in Europe. It takes place in February and is considered one of the most popular events in the city of Romeo and Juliet.
The great parade of masks and floats takes place on the last Friday of Carnival called Venerdì Gnocolar. The parade is led by Papà de Gnoco, the most important and beloved of Verona’s masks.
Ugo 1 CI 015 will be active from his QTH. His working conditions consist of a Kenwood TS 850S radio and a Mantova 5 antenna.
