ABBA is a Swedish supergroup formed in Stockholm in 1972 by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. The group’s name is an acronym of the first letters of their first names arranged as a palindrom.
The pop group is known for many hits including ‘Waterloo'(the Eurovision song contest), ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘Dancing Queen’ and ‘Take a Chance on Me.
ABBA are among the best-seeling music artists of all the time, with record sales estimated to be between 150 million to 385 million sold worldwide.
