The Isle of Wight is an island in the English Channel, located 2 miles off the coast of Hampshire.
It is the largest and second most populous island in England.
The Isle of Wight has resorts that have been popular holiday destinations since Victorian times.
It is known for its mild climate, coastal scenery, and verdant landscape of fields.
Vic will be active from time to time from his home QTH, using a Yaesu 991A transceiver with 5/8 vertical antenna.
He will also operate mobile with a Yaesu 857d with and a 1/4 wave whip antenna.
