Part of the AF- 004 group, Lanzarote is the northernmost and easternmost of the Canary islands in the Atlantic ocean.
Located 125 km (80 miles) off the coast of West Africa, the island is known for is known for its year-round warm weather, beaches and beautiful volcanic landscape.

The full Lanzarote Island, located in Canarian Archipelago is a Biosphere Reserve due to their wonderful characteristics with animals, vegetation and obviously the land of volcanoes, which did that this island was fantastic.
The island was declared biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO in 1993.
